my hand made dream catchers :)
It’s 3am, I just got home from dropping my parents off, and quite frankly I’m afraid of going on my facebook. I know so many people have left me page long heart felt and loved filled messages and I haven’t been able to get back to any of them since my parents came in to town (22nd). I’ll be gone all tomorrow as well, to Williamsburg to see an historical town and society all day. I wish every one a Merry Christmas, and I hope even if I didn’t get to speak to anyone directly, they know from affar that I’m sending them positive energy and love. I’m already getting angry texts from “friends” because I haven’t had the time to have a full conversation with them. But for now, My time goes to my parents because I’ll only get to see them 2-3 times a year. ;P
Much love to everyone, Merry Christmas- I hope your day was amazing not because of the gifts you received from it but by the amazing people you got to spend it with.

This is really just a personal post for myself because It’s been a while since I’ve been inspired to do a life plan, and the more I talk about it, the more excited I get. :)
I’ve decided my 4 loves in life will all be my career.
- tattooing
- fashion
- beauty
- and most of all art/crafts.
I will take my first step in school and education by attending beauty school.
(because beauty school can be finished within 1-3 years depending on hours and availability and I feel like this can be knocked out of the way so I can start a career as soon as possible and have more money saved up to pay for art school and my career goal. I am currently already working in retail. I plan to move up and get a visual job as full time rather soon so I can work both a retail job while attending beauty school until beauty school is over. Once I graduate, I will already have finished my tattoo apprenticeship by then, and I work get my official Tattooing license and find a part time job working in a tattoo shop (mostly for experience until I have my education and schooling is finished until I can devote more time to take it on more seriously.) I hope at this point I will be working in a beauty salon, working part time as a tattoo artist, attending art school, and finish working at my job in retail. I have zero interest in finding a career in art, I personally just want to go to learn more about myself and what I’m capable of, and to genuinely expand my thirst for art and crafts. I plan on continuing my business online and expanding through out the years with fashion so I can have both my art and fashion as my primary focus. Once I finish my art school, I should by then have both a beautician license, a degree in art and fashion design, a tattooing license, three part time jobs in areas I am in love with that includes, my art/fashion/crafts store, working in a salon, and being a tattoo artist. By age 30 I hope to have saved $10,000 each year after I had turned 18 to officially buy out a building in my hometown that will be both my clothing/art boutique and tattoo shop next door. As well as working in a beauty salon.
This is my career and education plan. So far I have all the tools I need. I just need my education and experience to get there. What are your guy’s plans?

I’m bringing out my past drawings and sketches and creating something new and never before seen. I’ll update with drawings and give you an idea of what I’m making. Don’t entirely know when I’m making it, but Colors, templates, designs and ect. will be in my blog under a seperate tag. as well as my art, personal posts, and crafts. Before then I need to set something(s) straight before I can start retailing my items.
- design/store name. (because I feel like LisaIllustration no longer applies since it’s not just drawings that I’m selling) If you have suggestions, please send them my way! :) or unless you think I should keep the name, message me :)
- sewing tools, machines, and a fabric studio. (All my sewing machines were left when I moved to virginia, and the apartment I’m in right now leaves no room for a sewing area since my art already takes up more than half of the living room.)
- portfolio. Although I’m going to make my designs I need a drawing portfolio of my designs. Including texture, color, ect. Back to the basics in fashion design and retailing.
I hope you guys are as excited as I am! :)

After months of ZERO art influence, inspiration and productivity. I have finally regained my passion for practice makes perfect. But not all was lost, I had been working several jobs and I now have the money to get the supplies I need. I will not lose another year of absence. This is my new years resolution, or to-do list.
- join a symphonic Orchestra
- put half or more than half of my paychecks in savings
- finish website
- start sewing again
- create art video
- have clientele with american apparel
- print shirts
- finish all or at least part of my fashion line
- sell flash art
- make art book
- have more practice in painting
- complete tattoo apprenticeship
- do photoshoot
- create a studio room
- Have 10,000 dollars saved by 2014.
I’m sure there are more, but for now, I’m trying to keep it simple and do-able.
What are your new years resolutions? :)
